Advanced Eye Measurement with ZEISS Equipment
Seeing well does not begin with a frame, but with attention. In the Eyeclusive eye test centre in Rotterdam we bring ZEISS measuring technology together with the experience of our team. We look at your eyes and at how you use your glasses: at work, on the move and in the moments in between.

The measurement as foundation
Every eye measurement begins with a conversation about your vision, your current glasses and your viewing habits. Digital measurements and your answers during the refraction complement each other. We then look at how both eyes work together and at what you need for near, distance and screen work. The result is personal lens advice, not just a number on a prescription.
From optical profile to digital centration
ZEISS develops instruments that make different aspects of vision measurable. The systems below show what modern ZEISS technology can do; they are an overview of the ZEISS portfolio, not an inventory of the equipment in our studio.
ZEISS i.Profiler plus
This instrument combines four functions: wavefront measurement, automatic refraction, corneal topography and keratometry. It maps not only the overall prescription, but also the optical profile of the eye and the shape of the cornea. The results support the personal refraction; they do not replace it.
ZEISS i.Terminal 2 and VISUFIT 1000
A well-fitting lens also needs precise placement in the frame. ZEISS i.Terminal 2 records centration data with a precision of 0.1 mm as stated by ZEISS. VISUFIT 1000 uses nine calibrated cameras for a 180-degree view of the face. Digital centration helps align the position of your eyes, the fit of the frame and the distance to the lens.

Lenses that suit your day
A prescription alone does not tell the whole story. ZEISS SmartLife was developed with modern viewing habits in mind; ZEISS ClearView is an option for single vision lenses. With ZEISS PhotoFusion X, lenses darken under UV light and clear again indoors. We choose lens design, coating and sun protection together, tailored to your prescription and daily use. Not every option can be combined with every prescription or finish.
Your colour. Carefully composed.
Colour changes the character of a pair of glasses. The ZEISS Sun Rx portfolio offers more than fifty colours, solid tints or gradients and different levels of darkness. Together we look for a combination that strengthens your frame and suits your taste. Personal here means a considered choice from ZEISS options; we do not promise unlimited custom mixes or an exact reproduction of any colour supplied.
ZEISS AdaptiveSun combines a base tint with photochromic properties. The official colour names are Grey, Brown, Pioneer (grey-green) and Blue, in solid or gradient versions. AdaptiveSun and PhotoFusion X are different lens solutions; we discuss which suits your use best.
The samples below are regular ZEISS lens tints, not mirror coatings. Grey, Pioneer and Blue belong to the classic ZEISS line. Chillout Green and Jeans come from the extended palette ZEISS sets out in its colour book; Jeans is a double gradient from blue to light. Sweet Violet is a soft lilac tint from the ZEISS sun collection. Burgundy and Midnight Blue are colours ZEISS added to its prescription sun portfolio in 2025. Skylet Fun is a speciality for those making a deliberate, warm choice. Every tint can be ordered in different levels of darkness and as a gradient; we check availability in the Netherlands and the combination with your lens when you order.
