Kuboraum Eyewear: Expressive Masks from Berlin, Handcrafted in Italy
Kuboraum is an eyewear brand founded in Berlin in 2012 by sculptor Livio Graziottin and anthropologist Sergio Eusebi, later joined by engineer Antonio Pincin. The name means 'cubic room' and refers to the artistic, conceptual approach that has characterised the brand ever since.
Instead of ordinary spectacles, Kuboraum deliberately refers to them as 'masks': frames that do not so much emphasise themselves, but rather the personality and character of the wearer. The designs are dreamed up in the studio, located in a former post office on the border of East and West Berlin, and then entirely handcrafted in Italy.
